Review of: Siberia Club Moscow

Type of venue: Uber-posh Moscow club/restaurant

Doesn't get more posh.

Doesn't get more expensive either.

Too restaurant-ish.

That's good

  • Definitely only respectable people inside
  • Biggest Russian stars perform here
  • Posh but accessible even without connections

That needs improvement

  • The party isn't worth the price
  • Should make up their mind: restaurant or club?

Summary: Siberia is the main address for top tier clubbing in Moscow. If you want to toast with Moscow's "elite", you should make a stop here. As far as actual partying goes, it is a bit of a letdown.

Where is the Siberia Club Moscow?

What kind of music do they play in Siberia?

Commercial and Russian music. Around 1:30 they always have a concert by a Russian artist.

What kind of people go to Siberia and how is the vibe?

After the closure of Moscow's institution Soho, the Siberia Club Moscow is the top nightclub if you prefer something posh. Don't confuse it for being the best but it is definitely the fanciest and most expensive at the moment. Even compared to places like Bessonitsa, Oblaka and Duran everything in Siberia is a bit more expensive, more lavish and posher.

The Siberia Club Moscow really is a restaurant that is a nightclub on the side. That's why it has no real dancefloor but an outsized area with lots of tables and a small-ish bar for those that did not book its ambitiously priced bottle service. There's also the customary, but rather small, stage. Every Friday and Saturday a different artist performs but it is a distinctly Russian club with a strong focus on domestic music and a very "Moscow feel" to it.

The crowd is the same as in other high-end Moscow clubs. Men are rarely younger than 35 and need to at least give the impression that money is not an issue (at the door as well as in the club). The women are stunning even by Moscow nightlife standards. If you want to meet genuine models this is a good place to try, as it has a rather slow vibe.

When should I go to Siberia?

If you want to actually eat in Siberia then come in the evening. Otherwise don't be too late as the club empties fast after the performance (around 3am) and the door becomes even more difficult after 1am.

What's the dress code in this club?

Elegance level: very high

Siberia prides itself on being the poshest Moscow club (at the moment). Nothing less than a white shirt with a blazer for men and very elegant/sexy clothes for women will suffice. Face control is very strict here.

What are the prices like in this club?

Price level: very high

In Siberia not only the stilettos are high but also the prices. Cocktails will set you back about 1300 Rubles. Bottle service is no deposit. Only a bottle of champagne is included.

How is the energy in this club?

Energy level: low

Considering it's a nightclub/restaurant hybrid, the energy is pretty low in this place. People mostly come to be seen and record the performance on their smartphones.

So do you have any insider tips or recommendations for Siberia?

  • Bottle service is a very poor deal here and that is why this is the only club I discourage you from getting it, even if you can afford it.If you have money to burn, it is still better spent at the bar.

Why you should come to the Siberia Club Moscow

If you want to see the most stunning women that regular Moscow nightlife has on offer and money is really not an issue, then Siberia will not disappoint.
