Summary: The Secret Room Moscow is your spot if you want have deep pockets and want to party with Moscow's high society and all kinds of "stars and starlets".
Where is the Secret Room Moscow?
What kind of music do they play in Secret Room Moscow?
Only Hip Hop, Rap and R&B, both domestic and international. It's the first real high-end venue with Black Music in Moscow.
What kind of people go to the Secret Room Moscow and how is the vibe?
Secret Room is the new project by the promo team that was behind the famous but closed Soho Rooms. The crowd at the club is accordingly of the more expensive and exclusive kind. In front of the club you'll see the same kind of cars that you will see at Duran Bar, Oblaka and the sorts.
The venue spreads out over two floors. Downstairs is the Cafe Druzhba, which is packed with the usual "look at me" crowd. This is a safe choice to find people on any day of the week but it's mostly tables and a restaurant type of venue.
Upstairs is the actual club, which in fact is just the same type of layout one floor up. It's very table-heavy and features only a tiny makeshift stage for the DJ. You can chill at the bar but the place is small and there's no big turnover of people. It reminded me quite a bit of clubs in NYC.
It's the absolute Number 1 "place to be" now in Moscow. Accordingly, Secret Room gets very packed very fast. The party at Secret Room is pretty good though because all people that come have money to blow and definitely do not give any fucks about the day after.
When should I go to the Secret Room Moscow?
You can preparty for a bit downstairs at the fairly small bar in Cafe Druzhba. The actual club opens at midnight and don't wait too long because the door is the hardest in Moscow at the moment.
It's not really a place that you want to bounce in and out of. If you come, you better stay for a bit because it is hard enough to get in.
There's party on Thursdays on Sundays too and plenty of people go. The Secret Room crowd does not need to worry about cash or working hours. Just in case you're wondering.
