Review of: Noor Bar Moscow
Type of venue: Cosmopolitan lounge bar
Relaxed but trendy.
Regular Moscow prices.
Busy but not crazy.
That needs improvement
Summary: Noor Bar is a trendy bar in the very center of Moscow. It's not your average nightclub but a bar with lots of hustle and bustle that is great for socializing and meeting new people. Also worth a visit earlier in the evening to sit down and sip cocktails.
Where is the Noor Bar Moscow?
What kind of music do they play in Noor Bar?
It’s a relaxed, loungier type of music. The music keeps more in the background in this place.
What kind of people go to Noor and how is the vibe?
Noor Bar pulls in a more professional, slightly older crowd than your average nightclub. Most people are 25-35, young professionals and of the cooler cosmopolitan type. That is exactly the vibe the place exudes. It’s a classic bar with a lot of lighting that you come to for a couple of drinks to chat and mingle with other people. It has a certain “big city vibe” to it that is a bit uncommon in Moscow. Noor Bar could be located just as well in Manhattan.
The interior is rather simple, the long bar being the main feature. There’s tables to sit at but it’s not the kind of place that you want to come for a quiet chat, at least on the weekends. Noor Bar is a place that people come to early and move on from there. As such, it is unpretentious and does not really have a face control. Its hustle and bustle during the early night hours on weekends make it quite an attractive stop if you want to get warmed up for the night.
When should I go to Noor Bar?
Go early, which in Moscow means from 11sh to around 2am-3am. That is around the time when most people leave for an actual club. I’ve never been there after that time. During the week it is quieter and you can actually sit down and chill with a drink.
