Where is the Gazgolder club Moscow?
What kind of music do they play in Gazgolder?
In Gazgolder you’ll hear deep house, minimal and similar tunes, depending on the DJ they brought in. Sometimes international DJs perform at Gazgolder, so if you want a place that plays good electro, bookmark this one.
What kind of people go to Gazgolder and how is the vibe?
The crowd at the Gazgolder club Moscow is pretty mixed. People are less of the fashion and posh sort but more underground and hipper. Some people would probably characterize them as "yuppies".
The club’s price policy weeds out the folk with less money. Unusual by Moscow standards, Gazgolder makes you pay 1000-1500 Rubles admission depending on the time you come. That leaves the “better-off underground people” so to speak, most of whom are between 20 and 30.
The club is set up in an old brick building and very spacious. Its stylish interior with candle lighting, old-school fauteuils and tinted windows makes you inevitably think of Berlin's nightlife scene. With one major difference though: Berlin clubs try to look as fucked up as possible, whereas Gazgolder has pretty much the opposite approach.
The venue is spread out across two areas, with the second one being much brighter with more of a bar vibe. On the little dancefloor you can enjoy slightly softer tunes than in the bigger main area. There's also a slightly desolated-looking courtyard. I'm not sure whether by design or by accident.
The Gazgolder club Moscow has a pretty chill and unpretentious vibe. It’s also “that kind of place”, so don’t be surprised if you get asked whether you have some mood enhancers with you. Unlike in European clubs you won’t see anyone consuming openly though, not even weed.
When should I go to Gazgolder?
Opening hours are from 12pm to 12am. It is an afterhours place though, so most people will be dropping in from 3am-4am onwards. It is proably the busiest out of all Moscow afterhours spots.
