Review of: Crazy Daisy Moscow

Type of venue: Popular dive bar

Elegance

One of the most basic clubs in Moscow.

Prices

Also one of the cheapest Moscow clubs.

Energy

Good energy but less crazy than you think.

That's good

  • Super cheap
  • If you can't enter here, you won't enter anywhere
  • Open 7 days a week

That needs improvement

  • Not exactly a sophisticated crowd
  • The parties are better in your imagination

Summary: Crazy Daisy is pretty much a carbon copy of Coyote Ugly (or vice versa). Cheap basic drinks, almost no dress code and open 7 days a week. If you like your clubs at least somewhat sophisticated, then this isn't going to be for you.

Where is Crazy Daisy Moscow?

What kind of music do they play in Crazy Daisy?

Crazy Daisy plays regular "club party music", so mostly commercial hits.

What kind of people go to Crazy Daisy and how is the vibe?

Crazy Daisy is the name of a chain of party bars with three franchises in Moscow. It brands itself as the number one option for a cheap and crazy party any day of the week. The concept is very similar to that of Coyote Ugly: girls dancing on the bar, cheap alcohol and a DJ that is trying to animate the crowd. The vibe is accordingly pretty easy-going and loose. Thanks to the low prices people get pretty drunk, that is also why guys are always reminded at the entrance not to start dancing on the bar and harassing the girls.

This kind of branding and vibe attracts mostly a "lower-end crowd", so you'll find plenty of students and not so rich Muscovites at Crazy Daisy. It also attracts a fair share of guests from the suburbs of Moscow. I described the type of crowd in my guide here. Generally the crowd and the vibe is more "genuine" here than in upscale venues, which can be pleasant or unpleasant, depending on your taste.

When should I go to Crazy Daisy?

You can visit Crazy Daisy any day. Sundays to Thursdays entry is free for all, Fridays and Saturdays guys have to pay 300 Rubles. Naturally it will be most packed on these days. I terms of which one, the bar on Sretenka is probably slightly more popular than the other ones.

What is the dress code in this club?

Elegance level: very low

You can come pretty much as you want, the face control is only there to make sure you don't start a fight.

What are the prices in this club?

Price level: very low.

With alcohol starting from 125 Rubles and a deposit from 1,000 Rubles per person for a table it is one of the cheapest places in Moscow.

How is the energy in this club?

Energy level: decent

Despite its branding the bar is more often than not just somewhere middle of the road in terms of energy. Yes, people do get drunk and party hard here but there are better options if you want to let really lose.

So do you have any insider tips or recommendations for Crazy Daisy?

  • Girls drink for free on Sretenka on Tuesdays.
  • These are the bars where you want to be a bit careful with your drinking and your behavior. There have been a few funny and unpleasant incidents with foreigners around them and the Russians that come here are not always the brightest and friendliest. 99% of the time you'll be good though.

Why you should come to Crazy Daisy

If you're desperate for a weekday option or have very little budget to work with, you'll still find refuge and a place to party here.
